So not all is going as planned, but I have a few great ideas!
No. 1: My new CHURCH can possibly be the place where I meet to have the workshops, and because they are very involved in the community, and because they have a school, I think it might work!
No. 2: If my new church doesn’t let me meet there, the Independence Regional Library may hold the solution. And I may be able to paint a mural there! They have this nice blank wall behind an entrance marked INFORMATION. I just have to ask.
Also great news, I turned in my Gold Award proposal today!!! This is officially the first step to getting this thing up and rolling. So here you are, ladies and gentlemen, my new and revised timeline!
- Get my art teacher to be my advisor. (asap)
- Find location for meeting place and mural. (Before school starts)
- Get people aware and signed up. (Before September)
- etc. (January)
